Youth Classes
Masterclasses for Grades 6-12 Purchase required to enroll
New in 2023-24, TMS is excited to introduce weekend masterclasses for Grades 6-12. These masterclasses offer students learning guitar, bass, drums, keys and vocals the opportunity to learn new skills in a social environment with like-minded peers. Topics are focused on popular music and participation is highly recommended for students interested in playing in a band or ensemble. Each weekend masterclass is relevant for every rock instrument. The first half of each master class will be dedicated to the specific topic. The last hour or so of the class will be a supervised "Open Studio" where students can experiment with what they've learned, jam with other students and hang!
Masterclasses have drop-in rate of $25/per date. Enrollment is included for students Grades 6-12 currently enrolled in a TMS rock band.
Adult Classes & Workshops
Uke55 8-week Course $180 Purchase required to enroll
Music is for everybody!
This course will introduce the basics of the ukulele and how to play it. Students will learn primary chords and be able to play songs and sing along while playing. Suggest your favorite songs! You will also learn principles of a jam, how to play as a group and the history of the instrument and its popularity. Each participant will be given their own binder, and new pages and resources will be added as the course progresses. Taught by Susan Jones.
Uke55 takes place at Teton Music School in the Center for the Arts.
No instrument? No problem! We have ukuleles available on loan, or you can purchase a uke at Chesbro Music.
