Tori Lund is a singer, songwriter, and musician from Los Angeles, CA, with over 20 years of experience teaching music, primarily focusing on voice and piano. She holds a B.A. in Music and a Master of Music in Vocal Performance, with comprehensive training in bel canto classical singing as well as contemporary vocal styles with renowned vocal coaches.
Throughout her career, Tori has been an accomplished soloist and actively participated in ensembles. Her diverse teaching experience includes private instruction, leading youth choirs and bands, co directing and accompanying music programs for Veterans, and organizing local music events. Tori is also a certified yoga teacher and has offered workshops for musicians and singers at university and college campuses. Driven by her passion for roots music and lyric writing, Tori transitioned from the classical domain to explore genres like blues, country and rock. In 2015, she co-founded the indie Americana band Few Miles South, touring extensively across North America as the lead singer and rhythm guitarist until 2024.
As a songwriter, her music has gained recognition with placements on PBS and Fox Sports, and features on NPR, BBC and Bluegrass Today. Tori has performed live on radio and TV, at major music festivals, and has opened for notable artists such as Shenandoah, Daniel Donato and Junior Brown. In recent years, Tori co-managed a recording studio in Georgia, where she recorded several albums, collaborated with artists across genres, and mentored young musicians and songwriters. Her belief in music as an inherent human language and a vital healing art underscores her commitment to nurturing individual and community growth through the transformative power of music.
